Marine Administrator

We are seeking an administrator with at least 3 years experience in a Marine Administration role.

The ideal candidate will be coordinating the affairs of a portfolio of corporate structures;
- Dealing with day to day client requests in a prompt and timely manner;
- Be able to draft minutes and resolutions to the highest standards;
- Be able to deal with reviewing of all sorts of agreements and provide insight and summary prior to passing them on to
key staff or directors for signing;
- Be able to complete a bank account opening form to the highest standards and ensure that it is operating accordingly;
- Preparation of payments / electronic payments / arrange FX via EQ system;
- Liaising with, directors, clients, intermediaries - including, but not limited to, yacht brokers and manager, yacht
captains, banks and other professionals in person, by telephone or in writing (including by email);
- Complete yacht registration paperwork for the relevant flag;
- Preparation of all documentation for yacht sales and purchases (if necessary);
- Be able to identify opportunities within the portfolio to generate new business;
- Ensure that the database is correctly populated and the information is accurate and correct;
- Assess and communicate with intermediaries and the relevant VAT authorities if necessary;
- Completing timesheets;
- Manage debtors;
- Understand the risk based approach of the business;
- Understanding of company accounts in order to recommend that the accounts are signed by a director;
- Understanding of VAT returns and policies in order to check VAT returns for own portfolio;
- Excercising time management in order to prioritise work and recognise tasks to be done in order of priority
