Permanent Personnel

Introduction to a candidate will deem to be acceptance of our Terms & Conditions of Business. No variation can be made to these terms with out the written consent of a Director of the Company.

All introductions are strictly confidential

Curricula Vitae remain the property of Miracles Limited. If Curricula Vitae are of no interest to a Client, we request that they are shredded by the Client, deleted or returned to Miracles Limited.

The Consultant's Comments given on Curricula Vitae are given without responsibility, guarantee or liability on behalf of Miracles Limited.

The costs of advertising, both in the local newspapers and on Manx Radio, are included in the Agency's charges. Advertisements are usually drafted by Miracles Limited, but clients may dictate their own advertising if desired. No advertisement will be forwarded to the local newspapers without Clients prior permission and approval.

The Client agrees to notify the Agency immediately an engagement is accepted; the Client will then receive an invoice for the placement which should be paid as soon as the employee commences work for the Client. Fees are calculated as a percentage of the first year's annual salary; reductions are given to those who give Miracles Limited 'preferred agency' status. Three or six month contracts will be charged proportionately with a minimum charge of £875.00 + VAT. Should a candidate prove to be unsuitable within the first month of employment all fees will be refunded in full and without hesitation. After that time the following refund policy will be applied:

Up to 4 weeks 100%
4 - 6 weeks 80%
6 - 8 weeks 60%
8 - 10 weeks 40%
10 - 12 weeks 20%

An introduction fee will be charged in relation to any application (i.e. candidate) engaged as a consequence of, or resulting from, an introduction by or through the Agency, even though the introduction may be made indirectly. This means that if a candidate is accepted for a position other than the one for which they were introduced, the client remains liable for full payment of the fee.

Miracles' staff spend a considerable length of time vetting candidates, they are accomplished, experienced and qualified Recruitment Consultants. After interview, references are taken up and reviewed and candidates are discussed with senior staff before registration finally takes place. If it is considered necessary, references will be followed up verbally. It is not always possible to obtain a reference from a current employer. If there is a firm job offer, subject to such a reference, and if the candidate agrees, a reference can then be taken up by the Agency or Client.

Although the Agency endeavours to ensure the suitability of any candidate introduced to a Client, the Client should satisfy themselves as to the suitability of any applicant and should take up any reference provided by any candidate and/or the Agency before engaging the candidate. The Client is then responsible for obtaining work and any other permits and for satisfying any other requirements or qualifications required by law.

Miracles' staff will only recommend those candidates they consider to be suitable for a particular position and company. The Agency have approximately twelve hundred candidates on file at any one time, but present clients will have a choice of the best and most suited to the particular position in question.

Miracles offer testing/training of secretarial and clerical employees. Psychometric testing is available for candidates at all levels. Further details are available on request.

You are expected to notify us immediately a candidate is accepted; you will receive an invoice for the placement which should be paid as soon as the employee commences work. Fees are calculated as a percentage of the first year's Annual Salary.

Salaries up to £15,999pa 12% of the Annual Salary + Vat

Temporary Personnel

Miracles Limited is covered by a Professional Indemnity Insurance Policy for your protection.

Candidates wishing to join Miracles Temporary Personnel Register are thoroughly vetted at our offices. Their skills are assessed and, where applicable, tested. References from the most current employer are always taken up prior to commencement of work plus references covering the previous five years of work where ever possible. All candidates sign a legally binding Declaration of Secrecy.

Miracles Limited are responsible for ensuring temporary staff comply with current work permit legislation.

Miracles Limited also assumes responsibility for payment of remuneration, deduction and payment of all statutory contributions in respect of Income Tax, National Insurance contributions and Holiday Pay applicable to the Temporary Worker as required by law.

Current charges are listed here - reductions are made for charities, bulk bookings and 'preferred agency' status.

The Client agrees to pay the hourly charge of the Agency at the time of booking. The Client agrees to verify and sign the Agency's Time Sheets each week. Signature of such Time Sheets by the Client constitutes acceptance that the Temporary Worker's services have been provided to the hours indicated on the Time Sheet and that such services have been acceptable to the Client; it also constitutes acceptance of our Terms and Conditions of Business.

Should a member of staff prove to be unsuitable, please contact the Agency immediately. No charges will be made for unsatisfactory personnel providing the Agency is informed within the first working day.

Temporary Workers, provided by the Agency, are deemed to be under the direction and control of the Client from the time the worker reports to take up duties and for the duration of the assignment. The Client agrees to be responsible for all acts, errors and admissions be they wilful, negligent or otherwise as though the Workers were on the payroll of the Client.

The Client will in all respects comply with all statutes, by-laws, codes of practice and legal requirements to which the Client is ordinarily subject in respect of the Client's own staff, including in particular the provision of adequate Employers' and Public Liability Insurance Cover of the Temporary Worker during all assignments (excluding the payment of Income Tax and National Insurance Contributions).

Should a Temporary member of staff be offered a permanent, or contract position within three months of being introduced to our client as a result of temping, the following fees are relevant:

Temping for the client - 6 weeks or less12% of the Annual Salary + VAT
Temping for the client - 7 - 12 weeks10% of the Annual Salary + VAT
Temping for the client - 13 weeks or more £875 + VAT
Temping for the Client and offered a Contract Pro-rata of salary - minimum charge£875 + VAT
